Former Television News Manager Joins Winston-Salem Public Relations Firm

Pam Cook-Longworth, former news manager with ABC-45/UPN48, has joined Annese Public Relations, Inc. (APR) as Director of Client Services.

Cook-Longworth has more than 15 years experience in media, primarily in television news. Most recently she was the news manager for the local ABC and UPN affiliate. At APR, Cook-Longworth will be responsible for account services, event planning, media planning and media training.

Cook-Longworth earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Appalachian State University. During her years at ASU she landed an internship, which lead to her first television job at WGHP in High Point. Cook-Longworth has worked at other television stations including WFMY, WCNC, and WXLV. She has been a news director twice in her career. Cook-Longworth also has experience in local television sales.
